Life is What You Make It
Life is what you make it. That’s something we all need to realize. Life is full of a tremendous amount of opportunity which we can either take advantage of or let slip away.
The sooner you realize YOU are in control of your life, and no one else, the sooner you can be truly happy.
Yes, an argument can be made that we are not in full control because of a little thing called fate, but what it really comes down to is that it is up to us to live the life we want to live. We should not be sacrificing our own happiness to live the way others want us to live. This is not being selfish and this does not mean that we can’t make certain sacrifices for one another so that we all can be happy. What it means is that we should be embracing our freedom and our opportunities in order to live a happy and fulfilling life.
Why do we spend so much time complaining? Again, life is what you make it. If something unfortunate happens, we can either choose to wallow in the negative or we can choose to find the good in whatever happened and realize that you survived and it will only make you stronger.
Life is too short to waste it complaining and feeling sorry for yourself. Self-pity never did anyone any good.
You should wake up every morning grateful to still be alive. You should then vow to not get so upset over small things in life. Since you are in control, you can take any situation and create positivity from it.
Everyone makes mistakes and it is a natural part of life. Without mistakes, we would never know what good was and we would have no motivation to do anything.
So remember, life is what you make it. You’re in control and no one else. We each have the ability to focus on the positive and not stress over the negative.
So enjoy life. Take advantage of every opportunity and have many experiences.
Do what you gotta do.
Live Life Every Day.
